Asian Butter Glazed Lamb Chops

Ingredients

8 lamb chops

MARINADE
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp brandy
3 garlic cloves minced

BUTTER GLAZE
1 cup chicken stock
5 tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp 5 spice
2 stalks green onion sliced
1/2 cup cubed butter

Instructions

1. Combine ingredients for marinade and add chops
2. Allow chops to marinate for 2-12 hours
3. Preheat your grill on high then reduce to medium prior to cook
4. In a small pot, combine ingredients for glaze, except onion and butter, and bring to a boil
5. Reduce glaze for 12 minutes then remove from heat then whisk in green onion and butter
6. Cook for 3 minutes per side rotating a quarter between flips for grill marks for a total of 12 minutes
7. Rest lamb chops for 5 minutes before serving
8. Serve chops pre glazed or glaze on the plate over rice
